Take each measurement on the body, not over a garment. Stand tall, breathe normally, keep the tape snug — never tight.

Bust
Around the fullest part of the bust, tape level and parallel to the floor.
Step
Waist
Around the natural waistline, just above the navel.
Step
Hips
Feet together, tape around the fullest part of the hips.
Step
Shirt Length
From the shoulder seam down to where the kameez should end.
Step
Trouser Length
From the natural waist down to where the trouser should fall.
